Computer and Digital Skills Upgrading
Computer and digital skills are used in the community and the workplace, in different forms and in different ways. When we talk about using a computer in the workplace, we’re also talking about using different types of technology, such as cash registers, scanners, touchscreens, tablets or mobile devices, and specialized devices used in different types of industries and workplaces. Some typical everyday examples of computer use include:
- Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Google Applications: Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Maps
- Managing email: including email etiquette, sending and receiving email, uploading and downloading ttachments or photos
- Searching the Internet to get things done, practicing Internet safety and creating strong passwords you can remember
- Windows 10 troubleshooting, managing files and folders, and understanding Settings
