Objective 1
Raise CLA’s profile through innovative programs, growing partnerships, and marketing
- Identify and develop purpose-built programming with our partners
- Raise our profile in the community and engage new partners through marketing
- Engage with underserved members of our community
Objective 2
Build societal awareness of literacy and its relation to health, wellness, and employment.
- Inform local communities of CLA’s mission and mandate
- Engage key employers to share information on needs and capabilities
- Ensure that service groups and other initiatives are aware of the impacts of low literacy
Objective 3
Develop highly competent instructors and volunteers to provide high-quality service.
- Attract and retain employees within current funding parameters
- Execute a training and development program to ensure flexible and high quality instruction
- Recruit volunteers to complement current staff capacity
Objective 4
Increase the number of learners we serve by securing additional general and specific funding.
- Meet targets to maintain current funding levels
- Seek additional funding to address provincial goals and projects
- Secure funding for wrap-around supports, rural service delivery, and to expand our influence
